Crane Studios is designed to meet the needs of commercial photographers, filmmakers, and creative professionals. Our 2,500 sq. ft. open-concept studio provides a spacious and functional environment for a wide range of productions, from fashion editorials and product photography to corporate campaigns and branded content.​

Emily cooper

Emily Cooper is a Vancouver commercial photographer who brings imagination to life. As a multidisciplinary artist, Emily mixes photography with conceptual illustrations and explores fresh perspectives. Her work has won the Communications Arts award and the Applied Arts award and has been published in the New York Times, The Boston Globe, and The National Film Board of Canada.​


jack fox
producer
Jack Fox (he/him) is a Vancouver-based film and television producer dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices and sparking important conversations. He has produced documentaries such as Fountain of Age and Changing Keys: The Sara Davis Buechner Story for OUTtv and co-produced Mixed↑ (pronounced MixedUp) with Howard J. Davis, a feature-length documentary available in multiple countries. In unscripted television, he has worked as Cast Care Coordinator for Netflix's Million Dollar Secret and Field Producer for CTV's Farming for Love. He also managed daily content for Roundhouse Radio’s morning show, booking high-profile guests like Cynthia Germanotta and Henry Winkler. Recently, Jack was selected as one of 13 global producers for Warner Bros. Discovery's Unlock Unscripted program, gaining expertise in AVID training, show running, pitching, leadership, and DEI.
David cooper
Photographer
David Cooper has worked for 40 years in the performing arts with some of the top theatre and dance companies in North America. Some of his larger theatre clients include The Shaw Festival, The Stratford Festival, The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Theatre Calgary, Canadian Stage and, Yale Repertory Theatre.
David has also developed a nation-wide reputation shooting dance with The Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Ballet BC, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Pacific Northwest Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, Company 605 and a dozen dance schools in British Columbia. He has recently been active creating Screen Dance films with local choreographers.
Two of his films have been seen at the San Francisco Dance Film Festival. He is a Pioneer member in the BC Hall of Fame, won a Jessie Award for Scenic projections and received the Order of Canada in 2020.
